There 4 factors that determine the value of a diamond. These factors are know as the 4 Cs.

• Cut: The way in which the diamond is cut determines the beauty of the diamond.
• Color: Typically the closer a diamond is to colorless, the more valuable it is.
• Clarity: The fewer inclusions within the diamond, the more valuable it is.
• Carat Weight: The larger the diamond, the more valuable it is.
• THE 5TH C: The most important factor. Does the diamond attract comments?
