One of the nicest one-carat rubies we have ever seen, it has a number of qualities that contribute to its magnificent beauty. While it is not unusual for a ruby to possess one or two redeeming qualities, rarely do we see so many in one stone. It is uncommon to see large gem quality rubies of a carat or more cut into a round shape. This 1.24 ct. ruby is not only round, but it is also unusually well proportioned. This combined with a crystal-like clarity gives this stone breathtaking brilliance, but the thing that is really intriguing about this stone is that it is completely untreated. Unheated rubies with this color and clarity are exceedingly rare, which makes this a truly collectible gem.
